MapMap is a chart viewer for PalmOS-powered handheld computers, aiming to be a clear GIS (Geo-Informational Whole).

The principal concept behind MapMapis to create chart viewer, maps for which could be produced without strange work by the limit users.

As such, MapMap is:

  • Raster-based, as producing/obtaining/converting vector chart isusually beyond capabilities of absolute manlike.
  • Uses ordinary desktop format for images, as using propriataryformat without want limits user.
  • Generally keeps information formats unfastened as it allows to application alreadyavailable third gathering tools to method information.
