On 03/01/2001 @pole published a safety guiding regarding a safety opening in PalmOS 3.x based devices which would allow person in material ownership of the whole to retrieve and/or modify any facts stored on the instrument by entering individual of two shortcuts (namely .1 and .2), flat if the Palm was locked.

ShortFix has been developed to put the built-in "Safety" use to the alike balanced of safety as its competitors. Continuous ShortFix choice remove the offending shortcuts from the whole, preventing anybody to enter the debug or console manner by using these shortcuts.

Following application ShortFix container be removed from the instrument. No additional shortcuts or information choice be moved.
